Thanks to everyone who participated in the recent Kedington cycling event on the 20th of September. A select group of 25 brave cyclists took to the roads with cycling legend Sean Kelly on a route that covered 70kms, from the K-Club in Co Kildare to the Hill of Tara in Co Meath and back again.
The day was completed (after a well earned shower) with a superb dinner in the K-Club, during which Sean answered questions from the guests about his legendary cycling career, ranging from his opinion of the best riders in the Tour de France to drugs in the sport.
During Sean’s career, he was voted the world’s best rider for five years in a row, won 193 professional races, including nine Monument Classics and seven Paris to Nice events in a row!
It was a great day out and a pleasure to cycle with one of the legends of the sport. Thanks Sean!
